Let’s be honest: 2025 was quite the rollercoaster. A year of shedding, ending and letting go. 🦋

What does the astrology of 2026 tell us about the energy ahead, especially for entrepreneurs? 🧭

In this blog I’ll share a short recap of 2025, the major astrological shifts of 2026 and what this year is asking from you in your business.

At the end you’ll also find a few journaling prompts to help you work with this energy in a practical way.

Before we get into 2026,

let’s do a quick recap of 2025.

In numerology 2025 was the year 9 which is linked to endings, releasing what no longer serves you so you can make room for something better.

But let’s not sugarcoat it, it’s been a hell of a rollercoaster for a lot of people. If I take a look at my own journey, I’ve had more ego deaths than I can count, with my move from Holland to New Zealand. It hasn’t been easy, but it was definitely worth it.

And while 2025 was the year 9 for the collective, there’s more to the story.

Of course, there’s more to the story than just which number of year it was. Let’s look at it from an astrological perspective.

We saw in 2025 quite a bit of change, slow moving planets changing signs:

Saturn shifted from Pisces into Aries.
Saturn is the planet of structure, discipline, responsibility and obstacles to overcome.
Saturn in Aries has been asking you to take ownership, make decisions quicker and stop hiding behind excuses and wishing and waiting. Take action!
Uranus went from Taurus into Gemini.
Uranus is the planet of the “expect the unexpected”, change, rebellion, the future.
Uranus in Gemini has invited you to get curious again, think differently about your business and try new ways of showing up.
Jupiter went from Gemini into Cancer.
Jupiter is the planet of luck, joy, abundance, expansion.
In Cancer it's been asking you to create more emotional safety in your business, support systems, routines and a home base that actually nurtures you (rather than draining you).
Neptune went from Pisces into Aries.
Neptune is the planet of intuition, the subconscious, dreams and illusions.
In Aries, it’s been asking you to trust your intuition when taking action and stop waiting for the perfect moment.

These planets are slowly moving planets, so it’s quite a big deal and no wonder we feel the energy more intensely. 🥵

This astrology forecast 2026 gives you insight into the major themes, shifts and choices this year brings for entrepreneurs.

2026 is the year 1: the year of new beginnings, starting fresh, making bolder choices and stepping into your next chapter with intention.

New beginnings are not always easy peasy. 😅

But then again, this is also just one part of the story.

In 2026 we will see a few planets shifting signs, so we’ll be definitely feeling this. There’s of course a lot more happening, but let’s look at 6 major changes:

In January, Neptune will re-enter Aries (as it was in retrograde for the last time in Pisces).
Neptune in Aries will highlight where you’ve been overthinking and where you need to trust your instinct more. It pushes you to take inspired and aligned action instead of waiting for a sign, permission or 100% certainty, even when it’s not fully clear yet. ✨
In February, Saturn will re-enter Aries too: rebuild your foundations, commit to the habits you know you need and stop negotiating with yourself (or others). This is about taking yourself and your business seriously, even when no one is watching, keep doing the work, it will eventually all pay off.
In April, Uranus will re-enter Gemini: refresh your message, try new platforms and question the stories you’ve been telling yourself. Cut the crap. 😉 What worked before doesn’t automatically work anymore and that’s not a problem, it’s information. The question is, what are you going to do with this information? Knowledge only becomes powerful when you actually use it.
In June, Chiron will shift from Aries into Taurus.
Chiron shows the deeper wounds we carry and the healing we’re here to do around them.
This will be a short stay though as in September Chiron will go back to Aries, as it’s in retrograde.
Look at your wounds around self worth and stability and learn to take action even if you don’t feel fully ready. What do you need to heal in order to feel more self-confident and show up for yourself rather than being the pleaser?
In June, Jupiter (the planet of joy, expansion, luck and abundance) will shift from Cancer to Leo.
Jupiter in Leo expands themes around visibility, confidence and self expression. This is not about ego or shouting the loudest, but about allowing yourself to be seen without apologising for it or keeping yourself small. Share your vision, make bold moves, own your expertise and let your business reflect who YOU truly are (not who you think you have to be). Growth in 2026 doesn’t come from doing more, but from showing up more fully & authentically.
In July the North and South node will change signs too: from Pisces and Virgo they will shift to Aquarius and Leo. The nodes show where you’re growing towards (North Node) and what old patterns you’re releasing (South Node). This shift asks you to stop building your business based on what you think people want from you. The North Node in Aquarius pushes you to innovate, think differently and step into ideas that are ahead of their time. 🧭 The South Node in Leo asks you to own your voice, show your face more and lead from confidence instead of comparison. But the South Node in Leo will pull on your old patterns at the same time. It can trigger the shadow side of Leo: depending on external validation for your happiness, being ego centred, performing instead of leading, or taking things personally when you’re not immediately seen or chosen (do you even see & choose yourself in the first place?). Together they ask you to stop blending in, claim your individuality (a.k.a. YOURSELF) and bring your ideas into the world in a way that only you can. It's a shift from ‘fitting in’ to actually leading. How can you be the leader rather than the follower? ❤️‍🔥

Retrogrades 2026🙃

And we will also be having Mercury in retrograde (Mercury is the planet of the mind, communication, how we perceive the world), as usual, 3 times. All 3 times in water signs.

Mercury retrograde is a time of slowing down, reflecting, taking a step back.

And in water signs you’ll asked to slow down emotionally, reconnect with your intuition, notice & heal your triggers and rewire the stories you attach to things. ❤️‍🩹

And also the planet Venus (beauty, love, money) will be going into retrograde in October to November. First in Scorpio, later in Libra. 💝

When Venus goes into retrograde you’ll be asked to look honestly at your relationship with money, desire and self worth and re-align how you connect, receive and show up.

Overall conclusion for 2026🤓

I can’t say 2026 will be more or less of a rollercoaster than 2025. It's too personal to make such a big statement.

The energy of 2026 is about choosing, building and allowing yourself to be seen. ❣️

2025 made it very clear what no longer fits.

2026 asks you to not only be honest about that, but to actually act on it (If you haven’t already). 🔥

It’s a year where:

Old patterns feel even less comfortable.
Your intuition speaks up faster, if you’ll let it.
Action matters more than perfect planning. F*ck perfection! 🤟🏻
It becomes even harder to hide. Your business will ask you to show your face, your voice and your real energy more openly. I love this statement: “You can’t aim high and fly under the radar at the same time.”
Your business reflects your energy, choices and self worth even more clearly.

And these shifts won’t happen out of the blue. You’ll notice them through the people and situations that invite you to grow. ❤️‍🩹
